San Francisco 49ers' first round pick, Nick Bosa, will miss the entire preseason with a high ankle sprain, according to General Manager John Lynch.
Lynch went on KNBR this morning and remarked that the injury Bosa suffered during yesterday's practice is "more significant" than previously reported.
The "dreaded high ankle sprain" will keep Bosa out for at least the entire preseason.
Bosa's injury history has been a topic of concern since before he was drafted. He also sat out the majority the off-season program with a strained hamstring.
The 49ers used the 2nd overall pick to draft Bosa, and when he's on the field, he appears to be worth his draft position, if not more. But the challenge is now shifting to keeping him on the field.
